Comment:

Dr. Conn was kind but not very interesting during his lectures. However it's important to pay attention because at least 95% of the material on his tests was from notes and illustrations in class. The text is hardly used and after the first exam I stopped reading it entirely. His TA Mrs. Barber is the nicest lady though she will help you get thru.

Dr. Conn is the most boring lecturer that I have ever had. He gives the same lecture three class periods in a row. Great President. Pretty awful professor.

Comment:

This class is only good because Paul Conn. That being said, he is not the best lecturer but he does care about students. Attendance is essential and the exams aren't bad. Make sure to take a lot of notes and make quizlets because they really helped me. My class made a groupme and shared notes. He gives a lot of free food so that was nice.

Conn is pretty good. Hammond is... eh. The class is kinda boring. They also repeat themselves A LOT. We spent four class sessions on the same lesson as they repeated the each same lesson twice. That is very frustrating. Otherwise, its easy to do well. Tests are considerably hard but if you study youll do well

Dr. Conn gets old the fourth time you hear him speak in chapel - now multiply that by 20 times a semester for 1.25 hours every class. Its a super boring class, made a usually interesting subject (intro to psych) extremely boring. We all hoped he wouldnt come to class so Hammond would lecture, take Hammond instead. Pros: Conn gives free things.

Smart, caring, fun, funny! A great prof. Gets off topic sometimes, but that means less notes which means less to study! If you do good notes, study the few pages assigned to read, go to the study session led by Barber, then you're good! He also gives free stuff including snacks sometimes! Although Psych isn't my thing, I got A and liked the class!

Dr. Conn is awesome. He knows what he us teaching on and he gives free stuff out all the time. Go to class for the attendance grade, write down the slides, read the very few pages that are assigned and you will make an A in the class. I wish this class was only Dr. Conn, but I guess we cant always what we want in life. Super fun and easy class.

Dr. Conn is a hilarious man and really cares about his students! I loved him as a person, but in class he is sometimes hard to follow because he gets off on what seems like rabbits trails. He also repeats himself a lot, getting the class behind. However, the class is pretty easy as long as you study well and attend class.

This is a really easy class. He has giveaways for campus events and local restaurants just about every single week. Tests are relatively easy if you have done your reading and written lecture notes. He can be a tad monotonous and repetitive sometimes. He team teaches with Dr. Hammond, and he is really interesting too.

Dr. Conn is quite the professor. If your looking for an easy class, this is it. Go to class for the attendance grade, read the chapters for the tests, and then go to the study sessions! They tell you everything you need to know. Not the most interesting class, but an easy A if you take a little time.

Professor Conn has a good sense of humor. But he always teaches the large 200 ppl classes therefore making it harder. He doesnt always follow his powerpoints. Sometimes it was hard to understand what he was saying. The tests were difficult. He knew what he was talking about, but it seemed like it was hard for him to teach such a large class.

Conn is real cute and sweet. He bought us chicken biscuits a few times. Definitely made us laugh. Unfortunate because we spent 3 days of Pavlov which he could have gone over in about 20 minutes. Very repetitive, almost so simple that it's hard. I didn't use the book and got an A. Go to class, take notes, review, you'll get at least a B.
