Worst professor I've probably ever had. I had him at Eastern CT State University and he never made any sense. He never taught anything and expected us to know what to do anyway. Very unclear and doesn't know how to use the equipment. Give attitude when you ask questions

Comment:

Terrible experience. I was excited to be attending this class to learn how to better shoot film. Instead I was met by a teacher who missed 5 classes, and has left early 3 times with 2 hours to go in his 3 hour class. He is unhelpful, when asked questions he repeats "Sit down" over and over, drowning you out. Or tells you to shut up or be quiet.

At the begining. I didn't know what I was thinking taking it. But in the end it all paid off. There is a high work load and you're going to have to put the time and effort into it but if you show Stoney that you're WILLING to learn, make mistakes, and DO THE PROJECTS then you'll get a good grade and respect from one of the greatest teachers at NCC.

Stoney is the best!!!!!! At the beginning I thought his class was very hard but he was so helpful that I ended up loving it! He has a weird sense of humor but once you get to know him better you understand his way of teaching.

I gotta tell you their are many people that are labeled perfectionists. That's kind of a euphamism for a pain in the ass. Stoney is the first real perfectionsist I have ever met and even though he never shows it he truly cares and is willing to help people who are willing to solve problems as much as he does, when it comes to TV
