This guy is funnier than I am, and I'm funny. Talk about a very smart and very old man. This guy is amazing. He knows everything about English and much more. Just talking to him, you can tell how funny and smart he truly is. Take him if you have the chance.

Comment:

Best teacher I've ever had! Rather than stick to a boring class outline, he teaches what he wants. Even as much as we go off topic, I've learned more from him than I do in any other classes. He teaches you so much more than just English. Missing a class isn't an option, but I don't know why you would want to. Its hard NOT to pay attention in class.

Paul Emmett is a spectacular teacher. I took him more than once because his class taught me so much beyond English. He opens up taboo topics you'll never discuss in other classes and covers more than just English. He's there for you if you have questions and even gives you his home phone. He loves what he does and it shows in his students work.

Emmett is easily one of my favorite teachers here. Be prepared for homework every night as well as essays. He's really funny and he never has a boring class. He's a bit of a tough grader, but if you need anything he's very helpful.

I was put off on the first day of class, but you will become desensitized to the mentionings of sex, violence, obscenities, etc. Most other peeps in the class enjoyed his "anything-goes" attitude and speech, though I was offended. In any case, it can't be argued that he's a personable guy. He won't remember your name, but he will nicely say hi.

Prof. Emmett is brilliant! He is very particular about showing up to every class every day and having your papers proofread, but otherwise its easy to get a good grade. He?s very eccentric and keeps the class interesting?I?ve never been bored in his class. I recommend all his classes because he gives you the freewill to be creative in your works
