I had the option of sitting with him while he graded my first paper and it was the second worst mistake of my life after signing up for his class in the first place. He had nothing but NEGATIVE feedback. I showed my paper to an ENGLISH MAJOR before turning it in and she thought it was, at worst, an A- paper. That jerk gave me a B-.

DROP DROP DROP!!! do no take his class. he plays favorites. i have always gotten a's and b's in english. in his class i failed every paper he assigned, AFTER turning them in early AND rewriting them. the work load is insane. even if you do the work, and keep the writing up to par, you still may not pass. he's psycho.

Some of the statements he made in class we also very inappropriate for a teaching environment. He chose favorites in the class. Dude is crazy.He is very into his race. Everything he ever said always went back to being black. I mean they have a class for that. Don't ever expect to do a paper late he doesn't allow it. He does not give any sort of interum or anything showing you your grade the whole semester. I got and incomplete in his class and have no clue why.

Crazy man.. not a good experience.. i got an a on every paper and then a b on the research paper and got a b in the class..he even liked me! He gives like 2 papers a week and they have to have like 20 specified paragraphs in each of them..if you have any others classes to worry about..you better drop this one!!

This man is EXTREMELY ODD, he repeats himself, spits, and makes joke that arent funny. But he grew on me. Yes, the work load is a bit weighty, but if you do the work and GO TO CLASS (even tho there is no class work), you should be ok. The research paper is a big deal. Honestly, I learned a great deal. The man really is brilliant.

Tough class. I ended up dropping it. This a class that you should NOT take if you are a full time student. When I noticed my grades slipping in my other classes because I was always working on his PAPERS I decided that I needed to drop it to maintain my 3.4 ... 40 pages worth in papers = way too much.
