i took College Algebra and Trigonometry with dani. it could be annoying if you dont like computers. no test!, no quiz!! just an online softwar we did everyday. he is not strict at all, take this class for a essay grade, but not if you want to learn math!! i didnt learn much math, but i learned about geogebra, for a old guy, he sure knews computers!

Dont waste your time. Retake the exam, take a class your interested instead. Dani is an extremly nice guy but the class is insulting at best. He showed us a youtube video defining subtraction. Don't bother.

Don't waste your time. We didn't do any real math all semester. It's really frustrating. He gives all the homework over gmail. He talks about life every day. He once told us that in his past life, he was his mother's husband. WHAT? He's hard to understand since he's from Israel. Just don't waste your time.. NOT WORTH IT AT ALL

This class is completely worthless. Novak just babbles and has the TA do a large part of the teaching. He even admitted that he had never taken a statistics course before he started teaching the class last fall. This class is a complete waste of time.

If you ever have had a teacher that was like :wow THE BEST EVER, you know what it is like to have Dani. He is the nicest guy on campus and actually loves what he teachers and he makes the students actully love math too. It is a hard class that he has to teach, but he KNOWS how to make it fun and easy for this students! TAKE THIS CLASS!!!! :)

If kindness could be the basis for teaching, he would be the greatest. But he's overly repetitive on concepts that have nothing to do with the material, and his beliefs get in the way of teaching anything at all. He makes you feel good about yourself, no matter your talents, but you'll feel guilty for passing his class anyway.

I do not know where to begin. Dani is an amazing person with an unique view on life, which he makes clear every class. very friendly and a great person. I dont think I learned anything math in class. We started off using logo on the comp to make pics. Soon, however, he decided we "learn differently" and we spent most of the rest of class on walks

Dani is so nice. He just makes me want to hug him. He approaches teaching from a different stand point then most teachers and some people may not like this, but he really wants his students to enjoy the class and enjoy life. His focus is not on grades but on seeing math everywhere in your life.

I thought I would love this guy, but he's a TERRIBLE teacher for difficult, upper level courses. He just talks about trees and beauty, then gives you an extremely hard test on material he didn't teach! He LOST my take home exam, then gave me a 0. Jerk.
