Prof. Gans is by far the best teacher I have had at NYU. He cares about his students and knows exactly when we don't quite understand something. Take him if you can, he is passionate about the subject and wants everyone to be an expert!

Gans is great. He really wants his students to do well and learn the material. Go to lecture, laugh at his corny jokes, get a good grade, and learn a little something about chem to boot. Just a warning, even though he's much easier than the 1st semester professor his class still requires some effort, put it in.

WONDERFUL guy. makes corny jokes that you'll still laugh at. Teaches the material in a way u learn the concepts rather than simple math. Easy if you go to his lectures. You def. want this man at some point in your academic career. I'm only looking forward to PChem II thanks to this man. He better still be teaching it.

Comment:

Gans is the sweetest professor at NYU. He really wants to see all his students do well and therefore puts very little emphasis on grading, which is easy. Laugh at his corny jokes - he deserves it!

Medieval technology was a great class. Gans is fun and funny and easy going. Highly recommended!
