I had Paul for his intro class and upper div Congress class and enjoyed both classes. The classes are both pretty easy and interesting, and I think I learned a lot. He's bad with names (and knows it), but otherwise I would recommend his class if you're interested in US politics or voting. He's also fairly empirical, so don't take him for theory

you will not be as successful in his class if you are female. he didn't bother to learn the name of any females in my class and is very disrespectful to all students. he does not belong at reed college. smart guy, total jerk! sadly, his 210 course is required for my major--if you're ICPS, at least wait until after freshman year to take it.

Gronke is awesome. His sense of humor is awesome, his classes are fascinating, and he does great things for Reed. He received tons of attention during the election for his Early Voting Information Center. He is an asset to Reed in every way.

Paul was hot. He was an okay teacher. I didn't always understand him and his teaching style, though. He's really quirky and funny which kept the class interesting.

I took one of Paul's upper-division courses, and definately got to see his tougher side. The guy leads an interesting section, but I'm not sure that I actually learned that much from it. I'd still recommend him, though.
