Professor Gunnells is incredibly unclear in his teaching. It is clear that he is very smart and know what he's doing, but he can't seem to teach what he knows to others. Lectures are boring and confusing and exams are difficult.

he is certainly not there to babysit but is more than happy to help. one of the best professors i have had so far. the course material can get tough, especially the homework, but he always accepts questions after class or at his office hours. i would recommend to anyone who is willing to work hard and enjoys math

Professor Gunnells is a very good professor, and is always willing to help if you need it. The class is manageable, but it helps if you took it in High School. The Tests are what you would expect, but the TAs often grade them very tough. The homework is the hardest part of class.

He's brilliant. He's not there to hold your hand. He's very clear in his lectures and has no problem accepting questions from students. I really like his teaching style, he makes things easy to understand. I would take him again.

I thought he was very good at explaining the material. There was never anything really weird on tests because he covered everything. Just go to all the classes and pay attention and it should be an easy class.

He is a very smart guy. He knows what he is teaching, but sometimes he teaches things in ways that are easy for him to understand, but hard for students to. About once a class he comes up with a funny joke, which keeps me entertained. If you have taken calc before you dont need to attend the class.

AWFUL teacher.. not helpful at all and he goes on and on about stuff he isnt even sure about. i even tried asking after class.. and he just confuses you more.. definetly try to get a diff teacher! or go to review sessions or the library!
