A very tenured professor, he is well-versed in the subject and extremely knowledgeable. Examples/lecture notes don't translate 1-to-1 on exams and the lecture material tends to be fairly dense. He spoke with an accent but is comprehensible. If you try to understand the "big" ideas over the details, you will be able to understand exam questions.

Paul Ho, in a few words, is a clear speaker yet if you are in class, you need to ask questions because there is a lot of concepts that he may assume you already know. As a second year student, who took this third year course, I did struggle to some extent. The exam was not easy for me. If you are a 2nd year I recommend waiting to take it later.

Just because he gives easy grades does not necessarily means he is a good prof. The lectures are not useful, and not enough examples are used. I had better luck understanding theories by watching Youtube lectures.
