If you want to fall asleep in 5 seconds or less, this is your guy. He is one of the most boring teachers ever. He simply doesn't care about your other classes and will assign over 100 problems for homework a week. It makes you want to loose your mind. Also, you may think that your WEEKLY QUIZ will be easy, however it will be the hardest ever. 0/10

Work load is way too heavy- homework takes hours and there's a quiz every week. He grades very harshly so if you make a little mistake he won't even give partial credit. He spends his lectures talking about the proofs behind the theorems rather than explaining how to actually solve the problem which makes the class more difficult.

Might not pass if u haven't taken calc in high school, but if u really put an effort in and go to see him when you're lost, you'll do okay. I think in my class two people got As, couple got Bs and a lot of people got Ds or lower. He collects homework every week and it's a lot but it helps. Grades fairly in my eyes and he's such a sweet guy

This was the hardest class I've ever taken. He is much better one-on-one than in class. He is very unclear in class and gets flustered easily. His train of thought is everywhere and it confuses the hell out of people. Almost everyone failed this course.

"Pk" is willing to help you, but you will not understand a thing that he is saying, he mumbles. His notes are unorganized and half of the time while trying to explain them he is standing in front of what he writes so you can't see it. I took this class in high school and got A's, and now I am almost failing. What ever you do do not take pk.

The man is a nice guy and he is brilliant, but he can't teach well. He grades the most obscure details on tests, quizzes, and homework (yes, homework). The class is doable if you've taken calculus, but it's unnecessary. If you can avoid pk, do it and take someone else.

The material is almost laughably easy, but he makes it seem like rocket science. When he tries to explain things, you either fall asleep or just get more confused. He was one of the most boring and slow teachers I have ever had, but the material is easy enough to teach to yourself. He means well, he just doesn't know how to teach.

i LOVE this guy. He's kind of awkward and kind of old and disorganized but he REALLY knows what he's talking about and is very willing to help. Very very thorough in class but if you really want to understand calc, take him. Homework and a quiz every week but the quizzes and tests are not hard at all if you do the homework and pay attention

Most helpful teacher ever. He'll help any day of the week: mornings, night and weekends. He's always around and willing to help. You have to put in the work to keep up, but this isn't meant to be an easy A class. This is upper level math. A lot of EC and HW is graded to boost your grade. Wants the best for all of us and puts his heart into his work

He is an awful teacher. He is extremely unclear about everything. He hurls a constant barrage of homework and quizzes at you. If you fall behind, it is extremely difficult to catch up. His tests include no more than 10 questions, so it is very easy to do poorly. Do not take his class unless you already know calculus very well.

Had him for whole truths. The course is difficult, and he is hard to follow. He can be unclear at many times. The homeworks and quizzes are challenging, and the tests are not weighted very well.He is a nice guy and somewhat helpful if you go to him outside of class. unless you are really smart and studious, dont take. checks attendance every day!

Good guy. Course/content is challenging no matter the professor. Time consuming homework every night. Go to office hours and will help clear up any confusion. Tests are hard but allows an index card full of notes. I would recommend but make sure you listen in class, take notes, and do homework every night.

Barely works out of the text. he like to make up problems in class, then gets stuck. His needs alot of attention, quizzes once a week and alot of homework! He's a great guy but to me, his way of teaching sucks!

my favorite professor of all my classes so far and i even hate math with a passion! he's always there and willing to help and his personable nature makes him so easy to go up to and ask questions. Definately going to try to take him again for calc II
