Hands down the nicest professor I have had. Cares about his students on a personal level which is truly amazing. Music 64 has a decent learning curve if you aren't familiar with the software, but with work incredibly fun and rewarding.

Comment:

I took computer tools musician with him and it is by far the best class I've taken at Tufts. Professor Lehrman makes it really easy to understand everything and does tons of examples to make things clear. He is one of the most knowledgable professors you will ever have. The workload is insane if you dont love music and seems like nothing if you do

A great teacher, he really knows his field, and he's pretty funny. Also pretty demanding, but if you keep up with him it's a great ride. May be a little intimidating for some, but if you ask for help, you'll definitely get it.

The guy is tough, and makes you work very hard. But if you get into it, his courses are incredibly fun and he's very cool. Beware: he's into electronic music, but not much into dance music.
