I think Mr. McGahie is a wonderful teacher. I have found out that people don't like him just because of the fact that they don't want to work hard in a 100 level choir class. He is pretty laid-back as long as you don't do stupid things. I am sorry to all the band people who think he is a complete moron and that he isn't a band freak.

Mr. Mcgahie is one of those perfectly well-intentioned people who just "doesn't get it." My artistic benefit from him has been minimal, because he spends so much time explaining less-than-esoteric ideas but fails to answer the real questions.

Mr. Mc is great. He grows on ya after awhile. People didn't like him at first b/c he's different. I didn't like him at first, but he's very complimentary and knowledgeable about voice.
