This class is not easy, but if you put the time into reading the material then you're bound to get a good grade. He shares a lot of personal stories to relate to the topics and is genuinely interested in his students. Reading is mandatory or you'll be pretty confused, not to mention upset with your grade. Would love to have him as a teacher again.

Morris is a very hard instructor and he does want you to write the way he wants you to and he explains that. he does hand out a lot of crap to do and takes up most of your time so that you have no time for your other classes. but he has challenged me to become somewhat of a better writer.

His teaching style is not conducive to learning, merely conducive to teaching students how he wants the assignments completed for his class. He regularly brags on his ONE published book on literacy and is a self-proclaimed expert! Stay Away!
