Dr. Rosenthal the Father of Information Systems is a Brilliant Teacher, Consultant and Mathematician. He always comes up with his own experiences to teach us. As a graduate student, I highly recommend him for your grad/undergrad IS class. I am glad he is back from long vacation and wish him a long healthy life.

I got a B for this class and its not easy because he relies on the book a lot for the tests multiple question exams.He talks a lot about his life and career which are rather interesting but I do recommend if you plan to miss class and read the book instead.

A legend...in his own mind. Loves listening to the sound of his own voice. Lectures are so boring, they're mind-numbing. Group project/presentation (40% of grade) is given far too much emphasis. Most of the students who take his class are geeks and bean counters-not sales reps/presenters.

There was so much material to read and memorize that I didn't know where to begin to study. The only advice is to read each chapter a few times because no study guide is given. The only hint for the tests are the sample ones online in his website. Midterm(40%), final (40%), presentation (10%), and class participation (10%). Take another professor.

Midterm is extremely hard 10 chapters and it is stuff from the book. Final is 6 chapters a little bit easier. Doesn't teaches. Attendance not mandatory. Easy C but hard to get an A so it will mess up your gpa. Try to take someone else if you can

If you want an easy A in this class, take this teacher. If you are really serious about management and want to learn something, don't take this teacher. He is boring and he likes to talk about his long past trip to Singapore, as if that was the only meaningful and useful thing he has done yet. Very very easy A... But boring.

Midterm and Final easy if you read the textbook and powerpoint. The presentation was a easy 5min 2 people per group presentation on the end of chapter cases. You really don't need to pay attention in class because nothing he says is on the tests. Just read the chapters and you'll do fine.

Grading is average to somewhat difficult. Tests are from the book. There's also one basic group presentation. I got a B with substantial effort. The guy is a jerk though. Do not take his class if you are hypersensitive. I imagined 1000 ways to pwn him for some of the stereotypical things he would say. I had to do something to stay awake!

If you didn't have a choice and end up taking this guy, just stay home and read the book or you can do homework for other classes in his class. Lectures are dry and extremely boring. Fortunately, he curves and I ended up getting a B. I completely bombed the midterm but did good on the final. The midterm is the hardest compared to the final.

Let's put it this way, I'd literally fall asleep in his class and so would many other students. This guy is nice and knowledgeable but BORING! He should stick to his consulting. Also, students walk in and out of his class the whole time. They even eat in class. He has no control over the class and demands no respect. It's very distracting.
