He's a ball buster but for good reason. He takes his industry seriously. If he yells at you it's because he feels that a student isn't living up to their potential. All in all he's a good guy and a student can learn a lot from him.

Great teacher, often his courses are labelled as difficult but he prepares students for the world of sound for television. The course material is not easy to begin with but by simply being attentive and showing interest one will be appreciative of how Paul teaches.

Paul may know what he is doing but oh man he is a terrible teacher. He forgets people who are starting know nothing. Help? Whats help? He tends to drone on but not in a way you can learn from. I often lost while in his class and ended up learning from other semester students more than from him due to his poor communication. nice guy though.

Some college professors should have to attend teaching college. This is one of those professors. Yes he designed the audio course, but man, he needs help teaching it. If he had to explain compression more than 7 times to each of his classes, maybe the problem isn't the class. He has the weirdest way of explaining Foley, it's a little bit creepy.

Forgets often that prior to his classes, students knew very little to nothing about audio. Quite confusing at times, doesn't provide clarification well. Explains "Foley" awkwardly, making his students a little uncomfortable.

Good teacher, huge ego, all around good guy. REALLY knows his stuff, but technical mumbo-jumbo is just that. Has a hard time dumbing down the technical so the students can learn. Pretty easy marker, just make sure you pay attention, you'll do fine. A letter of reference from Paul is worth it's weight in gold!

He's not really a tough professor - "The Vampire" has to pick up where McVicker leaves off, which means he's essentially teaching two semesters in one. Only fear him if you're worried about actually doing work.
