DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. this class is wicked boring. you go and he lectures you the entire time. the only homework you get is to read boring books. very hard to pay attention in class because of the extreme lack of interest in the subject. a few take home papers and he is a very tough grader.

He's actually a great professor and seems to be a great guy in general..very classy and intelligent. I also thought he was very funny.. he definitely is a tough grader but if you pay attention to what he wants and participate in class he will raise your grade and you will do well in the class. I also thought the material was very interesting..

This class was difficult for me at first, but once I realized what he wanted, I had no problems. I ended up with a B+ in the class. Smith talks a lot in class, sometimes he's funny, sometimes he's boring.. but you MUST write down what he says. It's a regurgitation class... if you give back to him what he says in class, you'll do fine.

I didn't think this class was that bad...it is boring, but if you go to class and try to pay attention to what he talks about you'll do fine. He does discuss the topics the papers are about, if you pay attention take a few notes, its not that bad. I thought it was an easy A.

Class was very boring but if you talk to him, ask/answer his questions class is kinda interesting. Plus, it will help you with the quizzes. He's a nice guy but he really should retire. He's too old and most of the time he's teaching you everything else except Ethics. Overall, it's an easy class just boring sometimes. Attendance is mandatory.

I find this class to be absolutely dry and boring! I fell asleep at least 3 times! I cant stand sitting through the 1 1/2 or so of class. If you read the assignments you'll pass..... Class just sucks!

Not an interesting class if you arn't into what people thought forever ago! Gets the point across about the topics and assignments are fairly easy! 2-3 Take Home Essays (which includes the midterm and final) OVERALL: EASY CLASS...must attend though!
