He's alright, definitely not the best but also not terrible. Calls on you randomly throughout class, gives pop quizzes but you never know your grade on them because he doesn't use blackboard, lots of labs and lots of homework. He makes the class harder than it actually is. Wouldn't take it again with him.

He is a great professor but calls on random students at any time. Hard to keep up with him during his lectures. Doesnt understand the term excused absence. Pop quizzes are only easy if you understand all the information ever taught in the class. Tests are hard and he grades hard. Would not take a class with him again.

Dr. Stewart is very passionate about statistics. I liked him because he was very fair with his tests and course work. Prepare for labs, because they take up a lot time and it has very little impact on your grade. He tends to call people to answer questions randomly throughout class, so prepare for that. His sassiness made class enjoyable at times.

PSY 280 is no easy subject and I've never been great with numbers but Dr. Stewart made this class bearable and he really simplifies the information as much as possible. I would definitely recommend him!

Stewart has been one of my favorite professors so far. His class is pretty hard but he goes through it step by step and is very passionate about the subject. Hard to catch up if you miss a class . Labs are a drag but help you in the long run. Allows a cheat sheet for exams. No makeups allowed, even with a valid excuse.

He's alright. Pop quizzes are very sporadic in a way that screws you over in a way. Does not use blackboard which is why I'm anxious about my progress in the class, expects you to calculate your grade by looking at your grades. Starts off easy and then gets really hard. He's a cool guy but wish I took the class with someone else

Stewart may be my favorite professor at Oswego. He's passionate, he engages the class, and goes above and beyond if you have any difficulty understanding the course. He assigns quite a bit of homework, but it really helps you understand the material. Couldn't have asked for a better professor!

Make sure you go to class. If you skip, you will not be able to pass. A lot of homework and pop quizzes and labs. Textbook is essential. He really engages his class. He memorized everyone's names and called on us throughout class. If one person didn't understand something, he helped to explain it until it was clear. Very nice guy!

This class was a requirement for my major, and I am not a math person by any means, but Dr. Stewart will take your hand and walk you through everything. He is very thorough and explains everything in such detail it's impossible for it to be unclear if you are putting the time and effort into things.

The guy is amazing. I was in his class about a year ago, and being my first ever stats class, he managed to set a very high standard on how to teach this class. I compare my current stats professor's teaching to dr Stewart's, and wish all professors will approach Paul's tactics. Take his class, you will fall in love with stats!

I came into PSY280 having registered as a graduation requirement. I had no interest in Statistics but Dr. Stewart changed my life with that class. If you work hard for him, he will work hard for you. You just have to pay attention. Don't sit in the back and text, grab a front row seat on the first day and you'll never regret it.

He's a bit brash, and if you don't go to class/lab AND pay attention, he's going to call you out on it. The class is hard, but if you ask questions and do what's expected you'll do fine. Dr. Stewart is an awesome guy if you're willing to put the work in!

He explains things really well, and if you don't understand he will definitely go over it until you do. textbook is important. downside, he talks down to everyone and can be very arrogant. he treats a lot of people like they are dumb. i still recommend him though.

Hes very harsh and blunt with everything he has to say. Def a class you have to stay focused and be attentive. I went everyday and is still failing. Hes has no solution to failing and will tell you from day one you WILL fail my class.

The prof is awesome! The class is hard, but he makes it seem easier. Yes, he does repeat himself, but I loved it, because I retained a lot more info through his repetition. The textbook is a must, attendance the same. Trust me, you don't want to miss his classes, because it's a lot of material, and he textbook is confusing at times.Take his class!!

This class is probably one of the hardest classes in oswego to begin with and stewart doesn't really help. He grades homeworks as if they were exams and straight up yells at you if you don't know an answer in class. He loves statistics but needs to realize that not everyone feels the same as he does, in fact most people hate the class.

This is a class that requires a lot of work, but he does a good job of breaking the information down so it's understandable. Homework and labs are a lot of work but not impossible, tests are relatively easy but you have to understand the material to do well. Ask for help and get a tutor at the first sign of trouble and you'll do fine. I got a B+

he was the worst psych professor i had in oswego thus far. he talked me as if i was really slow and made the simplest topics harder than need be. Thus i had to withdraw from his class and take it over with another professor the following year.
