Great teacher and teaches class like a graduate level course. Weekly home work with no test all culminating into a large term assignments. He is a person who is actively working in the field he is teaching and always bringing new ideas and projects to class.

AMAZING TEACHER!! Loves what he does which helps when he teaches. It' fun that he is silly at times while at the same time being a good teacher. You may think that the class is scary at first but it's easy when you get used to it.

You know you're in trouble when every lecture starts with "I don't have anything prepared." His syllabus is 10 years old, the homework website is totally jacked up (3 weeks of dupes and he can't be bothered to fix it) and good luck trying to contact him outside of class. Rambles, totally unprepared and disorganized. Too bad the class is required.

Paul is a good instructor. His instruction pertains to demonstrating various ways of acquiring data. He holds a lot of real world knowledge. His class is somewhat structured because of his weekly itinerary he presents to us before class begins. The only drawback is the book req'd. for this semester (Fall 2008) is on the expensive side (new).

Mr. Veisze is a very smart, very nice fellow. The problem is that he's very unfocused. Others mentioned that his "unstructured" teaching style could be "intimidating." Well, it's not intimidating, it's just annoying. When you are taking a night class, you don't have the energy or patience for a class that doesn't teach you anything.

He is a little goofy sometimes, and that is completely endearing. Late nights with Mr. Veisze are a delight. Be sure to think creatively when coming up with ideas for your final project. He has seen a lot of crap, I'm sure, so make it good and he will really like ya. Recommend!

Definitely not your blue-collar GIS, in-the-trenches soldier teaching style. He's a very enjoyable teacher, bursting with real-world nuggets. Encourages the continuation of GIS problem solving. I like him.

Philosophical in his teaching of GIS. Very knowledgeable and willing to help out. Some students get intimidated by his non-structured class project - he is quite willing to help you solve the various project issues that come up - don't be deterred.
