He is a stubborn teacher and it seemed like his age was catching up to him. I remember a student asked him to explain a problem better, and he told them to swollow it. He will be rude at times, does not appreciate questions.Learn from your book.

He obviously knew what he was talking about, however his teaching was very uncler. He expects you to understand everything the moment you step into the door. If you correct his errors he makes you feel like you were the one who made the mistake. Do not take if your not good in math.

Worst teacher I've ever had! This guy made my first semester at SJ a nightmare. Thank goodness he decided to retire! Believe me, he is the worst rated professor at SJC on here for a reason.

Not the best teacher in the world. It seemed to me that he was just doing this job to get paid. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but I needed someone that's passionate about the subject. Has a droning voice, but he did ask if we needed help. Still got a B even though I didn't understand half the material.

I know a lot of people didn't like him, and I didn't much either at first. He did grow on me though. I learned a lot in his class. His tests are 100% passable. He does take some getting used to, but I would recommend giving him a shot. In fact I am taking him again next semester.

I have to say that Mr.Wells was a good teacher and very helpful. You are given a chance to at least pass his class since he gives take home test. Yes, you have to apply yourself and work hard BUT I would take him again. No one that I have meet said that Math was gonna be easy. :)

Not an overall terrible teacher. My biggest piece of advice is to study whatever section you may be working on. He has a habit of skipping some things, but overall he explains some things very well. And this is coming from somebody who absolutely despises Math : )

Horrible Teacher!Do NOT take him.He is a very smart man, but doesn't need to be teaching classes!Offers no help!Lectures sucked, when he wasn't second guessing his own answers as well as the books, he was skiping ahead doing the work in his head.If you need math, everyone does, take someone who can teach!I really don't know how he's still teaching!

I dorpped this class after only three weeks into it becuase he yelled at me when I asked for clarification. He treats his students like they should be mathmaticians like himself. He does the work in his head and skips steps. If you are not good at math DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!!!!!! the man is a menace and should not be allowed to teach any more!
