I will say as teacher she not really the best, but shes a good person. She will make you work for that grade, and she assigns a lot of work so be ready. Make sure you pay attention because her tests are hard. This class will require a lot of effort.

Comment:

Unlike other students, I can't have a say on her teaching style since I had her class online for both micro and macro. I got behind on work due to some personal issues and she sympathized and allowed me to make up my work. Ended up getting an A in both classes. Her grading is clear cut and her essay/assignment grading is fairly easy.

Someone had already said it, but she is a nice lady but a horrible teacher. Lecture heavy for sure and it can get really boring. So boring you don't even know what she's saying. She repeats stuff she had already explained 100 times already. A very tough grader. She doesn't seem so reach out and offer her help to students. Horrible teacher.

Very difficult to follow, doesn't speak in a clear matter sometimes. Very difficult assignments and tough grader. Some students were in need of help and she barely helped or reached it.

A simple econ teacher, does her job well and goes over the important material. Tests are relatively true to the math done in class. My only gripe with her was that she took her time with the homework/tests/projects through the first month of the semester, only to cram it all in a couple weeks (3 chapters of hw was asigned and due in one week).

Wonderful person, but terrible teacher. Lots of work to do which is fine, but the problem is that she does not go over the material. I paid money to be in this class so that she could teach me. The material is hard to understand but if you put in the effort then maybe you'll get an A. I am an A student and put a lot of effort into my schoolwork.

When going over math equations, she would mention that she needs to move on to the next section. If there are students who don't understand (Majority), we have to learn it on our own. Last time I checked, I paid to learn this material.. If I wanted to teach myself I would. Helpfulness 2/5

I thought Professor Mann's was excellent. She gave great feedback and always got make to me in sufficient time. She's hard and if you don't do the work, you won't pass her class but she is one of the fairest professors I've ever had.

You will learn an abundant amount Econ in this course. She is preparing you for the future so she does not hold back. She has high expectations from her students so you MUST put in the effort. If you want to learn, and up for the challenge take Paula if not take another econ prof who sugarcoats the materials and gives you an A.

i love her! honestly as long as you come to class, participate, and do the homework and the project you will do well.. she explains things in a funny manner to keep the class interesting since econ is not the most interesting subject in the world. if you are thinking about taking econ take her class. but only if you are willing to work and not lazy

Great Professor. I took this class online and this is a complicated subject but the material and her style of training worked hand and hand. I learned a great deal about economics and enjoyed working with a professional
