When I first met Paula, she taught chemistry well and have interest which goes in conflict with the class. I got mad at her and wrote a bad review. But I'm wrong. I learned how much she cares for me as her student deep down. Sometimes she's a bit too personal and reminds me of someone close but I value her for that. Highly recommend her!

If you are taking science classes at Evergreen, TAKE CHEM WITH PAULA. She is an amazing instructor, her lectures are extremely well planned out and she considers how students will absorb the information so thoroughly. I was afraid of chemistry, but am thriving in her class. Truly amazing professor.

She has a reputation for delivering honesty, and hard exams, but makes it clear it's because she wants you to have a strong grasp of the material. If you make it through one of her intro classes, you'll be ahead of the curve going into upper division. If you flunk, maybe Chemistry isn't your thing. Paula's courses are the litmus test. Pun intended.

Paula is one of the best professors I've had. Her feedback is always very concise and valuable. In my experience she is willing to go above and beyond, is always prepared, and seems to care very deeply for her students - their learning and well being. Sometimes she brings cookies to class, and that was always exciting. Knows a lot about chemistry.

Excellent professor, shines especially bright when co-teaching with Dr. McKinstry or Dr. Brabban. If your a science major at TESC, one of her programs should be in your curriculum before you graduate.

She taught polymer chemistry and she made me love it. I went to school for a biology degree but she's one of those teachers that makes you reconsider because of her wonderful passion. The course wasn't easy, but she recognizes hard workers and if you're a student that is clearly putting in the effort then you'll have a much, much better time.

Paula is an amazing teacher. I had never taken chemistry before FOHS, and she made it accessible and much less scary. She was always willing to offer extra help, and truly cared about the success of her students. She knows chemistry through and through, and has a great sense of humor. Truly one of the best all-around professors at Evergreen.

Paula is very smart and knows her chemistry. She chooses favorites however, so be sure to suck up to her early on in the quarter. Never be late, never miss an assignment, never miss a lab and ace every test and you should get credit. Paula is very cutting, and threw a pen at a student who got a question wrong in lecture. beware of projectiles!

Amazing prof, incredibly sarcastic. Shes sharp, and her comments can be cutting. Be sharp back. Shes great, but you better put in the time. Its obvious if you don't (at least with the workload that she gave me it was obvious) If I had a chance to have her class again, I'd do it twice, just for sh!t's and Gigggles

Comment:
Paula was almost abrasive in her lectures, occasionally mocking students' questions and going faster than most of us would have liked. But when I fell behind and contacted her outside of class, she was very willing to help me catch up. Expect to be humbled.
