Comment:

This was very different from my other math classes! Most of class time was spent going over a couple problems from the book. The explanations/solutions tended to be a bit long-winded, and often questions wouldn't even be answered at the end. Lab was well-conducted and interesting. I felt like it wasn't too hard to get an A.

Dr. Young is the best math professorteacher I've ever had in my life. She makes math understandable and easy! Also, she's a pretty badass individual in general. I had her for Calculus I and doing homework really helped prepare for the tests. She also assigns some Maple assignments which are pretty easy! A few times she gave us group pop quizzes.

I absolutely LOVE her! I have never been good at math but actually made an A in her class! She only gives a handful of exams throughout the semester and a few (really easy) projects, but she makes sure that everyone understands what she is teaching. She applies real life situations to what you are learning which definitely makes it easier to grasp.
