After taking this class with Paulo, I feel like a more cultured person. Although the class demands you learn events, acts, dates, wars, etc. in history, he also presented general concensus of people during the years. His presentations were fabulous and there was a lot of show & tell which I enjoyed very much. Overall solid professor!

very enthusiastic about the class.. not a great fan of humcore in general, but he was the best humcore discussion leader that i had. he's a fair grader. i would definitely recommend him

Paulo is a great discussion leader! He grades pretty easy, and when you go to office hours, he'll tell you what to do to improve your papers and bascially if you do what he says, he'll give you a good grade. He doesn't always go over lecture, but instead would bring in outside material to serve as another example, which is very helpful! :)

Loved him as a discussion leader. He makes my new DL seem SOO boring. He shows videos and incorporates games that relate to the study topic. He gives helpful study guides before midterm and final which pretty much tells exactly what to study.

Paulo is fantastic and if you get him for Humcore Dis. Lucky you!!! He is an easy grader, and is very helpful. You ask him a question and he won't stop until you understand him. He grades essays very thoroughly, and even the rough drafts. I LOVE PAULO!!!
