I really liked her class. Her method is very cerebral, and no, you will NOT get much practical knowledge--she doesn't touch the dry stuff. Instead, you'll read really interesting articles on the development of the profession itself. May not be everyone's cup of tea, but she's very kind, very open and humble, and overall a good choice for this class

This professor is unfair.She assigns long readings and exams, but she does not even prepare for class. All she does is gives us her opinion, then take 3 weeks to grade exams. If you ask me she sees teaching as an easy source of income where she can talk...talk...talk. Laziest professor ever! so much for teaching ethics!!!

Do not take Adv auditing with this professor. If you think it would help you with passing the CPA, you are mistaking. This professor should teach psycology or conduct AA meetings instead. All we did in class is talk about our feelings.Also, the professor asks students to work hard while she invests little to no effort in preparing for class.Shame

This class was useless. I got an A in the class but still don't feel that I learned more than I already knew.This professor puts minimal efforts in teaching the class. She would give ask students to prepare a discussion and all she does is talk about it in class, then asks you to write a 12 to 14 page exam on the material;laziest teaching technique

Her class isn't easy but if you go to class, take notes and study you will be fine. She teaches the material well and the class is somewhat interesting. I never read the book and got an A. Her tests are hard because they are essay but they are straight from the notes.

She provides outlines which she goes over and fills in as you follow along each day. A *lot* of material, but I found making flashcards helped in memorizing it. Tests are essay-based and lengthy. Professor is very willing to help you understand concepts during her office hours. Nice woman.

Best class I ever took at UCF. You have to read a lot, sure, but it's not boring textbooks at least for the most part. The exams are essay but you can type on a computer so it's fairly quick. She is extremely helpful and grades very fairly. You must not be shy. You will have to speak in class a lot.

One of the most exceptional professors I've ever experienced. Portrays a lot of self-interest and promotes student involvement. If contemplating taking this fraud auditing, prepare to do LOTS of reading.

She can be helpful, when she's in the mood to be. Otherwise, watch out. her tests are long and tedious, and your hand will ache by the end of it. Her classroom discussions are pretty good, though.

This professor is very laid back and loves auditing. She is also willing to help students understand the material during office hours. The tests are a bit lengthy and difficult, but the key is to seriously study, memorize, and understand her notes. I would recommend this professor.

Dr. Dwyer is very patient with her students. Her tests are pretty tough (mostly essays). However, if you go to her office, she is more than happy to review the information with you (even an hour before the test!) Take her if you like teachers that facilitate class discussions.
