Comment:
Anth3324 set deadlines & expectations, which were really easy for me to follow. 3 tests, 15 quizzes, 15 discussions for the entire course. Although some of the questions were tough, she offers a lot of extra credit and chances to make up the quizzes! She is also always there to email or reach out to for help. Challenging but easy to manage course.

Comment:
Absolutely no structure or guidance on assignments, so I often ended up with a lower grade than I felt I deserved. This was my last semester in school but I was constantly in fear of failing this class, despite my best efforts. All twelve students were supposed to work together on one big project, but were given almost no class time to collaborate.

There's a LOT of reading done and you have to not only do a quiz over one reading, but a review over another reading. Tests are all done online using a site called "ProctorU" which, I personally found really creepy (since they ask you to show them the area you're in). But aside from that, the topic is interesting & the prof. is cool.

Interesting course with an interesting professor. The only issue I had was sometimes the professor would get majorly distracted where she would be in the middle of talking and suddenly she'd remember something and focus on that. But aside from this, she's a pretty good professor. There are a few group activities & some count as quiz grades.

Dr. Juarez laughs at her own jokes way too much...it's extremely distracting. Her lectures were boring. She's an intelligent woman, but her class was not very interesting. But if you take good notes her tests aren't that bad and she curves, so that's a plus!

It's kind of hard to write a review because her lectures were bad. She had completely outdated information on India, for example. Her tests were bad. They were terribly difficult. But I somehow ended up with an A, probably from a pretty large curve. So, at least you know she curves :) Maybe she is just better with grad students?

The weekly quizzes come straight off the reading review. Test comes mostly from her lecture and is relatively easy. She is a very nice teacher and really knows what shes talking about... She uses interesting examples from her fieldwork. Definitely would recommend this class

this class is extremely boring because the topic is soooooo vague and easy and then she just doesn't make it interesting, very uncharismatic, very mundane, very boring. but its easy...the book sucks too...

As long as you take notes and print out the slides that go with them, you can make a good grade. Her test is based on her lecture notes mostly than the slides. Slides are like an outline.
