Do not listen to anyone if they are telling you this class is hard. It is one of the best classes I have taken at Wright State. She is an awesome teacher and her assignments are fairly easy. The books read are not that bad either. If you decide to take a CST take it with Professor Lindsey if you want a good grade and experience.

This class was very confusing and made her class a chore more than anything else. Be prepared to read like 30-50 pages a night. She is helpful at times, but gives no directions what so ever when it comes to her papers. The books were somewhat interesting, but still in all if you arent willing to put alot of work into this class do not take her!!!

Sorry everyone in lower level courses had such a hard time. Perhaps you haven't quite learned how to work with professors-not everyone will spell everything out for you-you are expected to pay attention, follow directions, etc. I took Irish Lit, and it was the best class I've ever taken. We read and discussed 7 books-an English major's dream!

The class was overall a negative experience for me and I usually like English, but She took forever to grade papers, had a ridiculous time line, was rude, and overall I thought she taught it way beyond the 200 level. She graded the WI papers very strictly and you have to get C's to pass. Be prepared to read at least 30 pages a night. DO NOT TAKE!!

Overall I did not enjoy this class. She takes forever to grade papers and the writting assingments are almost impossible to do good on. She is very strict on participation and not speaking out loud in class can really lower your grade. This is defiently not an easy class and pretty much pointless

The class is relatively easy, as long as you keep up with the reading assignmenets. The books were all pretty interesting. My only beef is that she takes foooooreeeeever to grade papers. If you're the type that has to know how you did on a paper, don't hold your breath.

she is a very nice lady, but she was a little unorganized. the class is easy as long as u do the reading and she is very fair. she expects a lot out of the papers you write, but if you ask her, shell extend the deadline for you. overall i was satisfied with this class but i wish she had been a little more on top of thing

This class was real confusing. The syllabus did not always match what she had due, the times were sometimes different, and I hardly ever knew where to post stuff. Other than that, most of the books were interesting and I took it as a hybrid class, it wasn't that difficult persay, just a large course load.

Easy teacher, but don't expect your papers to be returned to you. Just do poorly on them the first time you write them so it is easy to correct them. Also, the portfolio is the only grade she seems to care about, and if you have something to correct in the papers, the portfolio should be painless.

peggy is not the best teacher I have ever had but she is very forgiving. I didn't hit a single deadline during the whole class. (including the final portfolio) some of my papers were weeks late and I still got an A. this may seem obvious to most people, but write the papers and you'll pass.

Although she was a good teacher, she skipped lots of classes which were very big disadvantage learning wise. In the other hand she will never hear a student’s excuse although I never skipped her class but others did. Took for ever to grade my papers. Which made me always uncertain of my performance?

DO NOT take her for great books. Extremely picky and expects you to read 7 books in a quarter and write tons of papers. She took the whole quarter to grade all of our papers so we could only revise one for a better grade. She is very good about letting you turn in stuff late though.
