I took her Intro to British Literature class online. It's a tough subject and hard class. If you don't msis the deadlines and put effort into your research project and your short writing assignment you will pass the class. Everything else is just discussion boards and blogs. Easier than I expected. Don't be late on the deadlines.

Get textbooks, they are required, she expects them on the first day of class. Focus on your writing, and you will do fine, go to her office with questions, in class she wasn't as helpful. Her lectures did seem a little condescending, seeing as she taught MLA format multiple times, but take that time to do work on essays. Final was easy if prepared.

You might as well take this couse online from this teacher as she makes you do all the work there anyways. Not a good speaker at all seems to have trouble expressing what she wants to say with words. Doesn't really teach just makes you read a book then do group work and present that work to the class so she doesn't have to do anything.Just horrible

Here's the dilemma: Mrs. Oliver is a very knowledgeable teacher, but her ability to share that knowledge in class leaves something to be desired. I would suggest taking her online verses on campus. I found her to be excellent in a more one-on-one situation. But be prepared: she is not easy and really makes you work for your grade.

She is very hard on grading. When she lectures, she stops in the middle of a sentence like she loses her train of thought, and picks up about 20 seconds later. Very hard to follow. I would not recommend any of her classes.

Do NOT take this teacher. Im saying teacher, because she is completely useless. She can not be classified as a professor. She can NOT teach, she needs to go to kindergarden. It was the most horrible class I have ever taken. She will fail you even if you are a master at English. She finds flaws everywhere and thinks that her class is MOST important.

I have never hated a class so much in my life. She was an extremley hard grader, excessively absent, and wasn't very adamant about returning graded assingments in a timely manner. Do not take this class!

I am really surprised to see so many bad comments about her. She is an excellent teacher, she is very helpful.DO NOT EMAIL HER, EITHER CALL HER OR SEE HER IN PERSON!!!! she is not an easy teacher, but she makes it easy to understand how to write papers. She will also help you understand all the boring stories and their hidden meanings.

Took class online Summer Session, too much work, eventhough I worked hard I also just made a "C" and the class average was I believe a "D". She gives a lot of assigments and if you are taking other classes I am sure this class will affect you. I really do not recommend this class unless you have no other choice.
