Mr. Purin tells a lot of personal stories, funny ones. Also, he uses funny aids to help you understand what you could write about. You write short mini essays once a week and you have a chance to revise it for better grade. Easy class! If you attend. I will take more classes with him!

Pretty typical from what you expect an English class to be. Gives good feedback on the papers you write and also lets you revise it a couple times if you choose to do so. Also, he chooses pretty interesting topics to write about. Definitely recommend taking his class.

He was friendly, and the tests were incredibly easy, they follow the study guide exactly. I recommend taking this class on MWF though, he tends to drag on the class and it gets boring when it takes longer than 50 minutes lol. But if youre just looking to pass with a good grade, I highly recommend him. Just read the stories he assigns. Good luck :-)

Highly ineffective professor. Goes off on tangents about random anecdotes right in the middle of whatever he’s discussing at the time Very unorganized and never gets work back to you on time. Avoid if you take education seriously. (BTW final grade: A, so that has no bearing on this rating).
