Comment:

Pehr gives way more than you'd expect to find in a drawing or design class. He is passionate and excited about art, but even more so when his students learn and apply themselves. I even took a painting workshop outside of school that he taught in his studio. Way cool! I had drawing but ended up getting a crash course in Art History along the way!

LOVED this guy. He was really inspiring in a really laid-back way. More than teaching about art (which he did plenty of), he made me question my life and career choices. Really deep guy. Definitely recommend.

Pehr has tons of knowledge and consciousness which he shares freely. Laid back but he's no push over. Contagiously energetic. This class was integral to my art education. Best art teacher I've had.

Pehr is definitely a little different. He is eccentric and often flamboyant, but he is a nice guy. This class requires a lot of time and effort, but it's a pretty fun and interesting class. He gives an assignment each week with certain rules that you have to meet. You have to show up to class, or he will start taking points off.

Awesome guy. Very interesting. He'll push you to your limits, but beware, only 5 students per class get A's. He won't give out more than 5, even if you do extra credit. LLLLOOOOONNNNNGGGG!!! critiques. sometimes take longer to critique than paint.

Comment:

Pehr's strength lies in his ability to excite and enthuse a young artist like m'self. He has great energy and shared some interesting anecdotes about blues musicians and artists and what not. He's an abstract art guy so he couldn't really help me with what I was doing. Still, great energy and very inspiring. Good and helpful with all types of students.

Awesome prof, really fun brings interesting perspective on art. Deals with mainly abstract art, if you have problems wrking out of the realistic realm do not take him. (Not an expensive class like most art classes just invest in paper and glue)
