Comment:
Todd is a great professor for Theatre History. He knows what he likes, and will focus more on those sections of the course. He is very knowledgeable, and very open in any idea that you argue for, especially if it is of an unusual opinion. The class can easily be very fun! Highly recommended if he returns to teaching. He is now head of Fine Arts.

Todd is an amazing prof. I gained more out of his classes than I did with most. I've now been graduated for 10 years, and I can say that Todd's no nonsense attitude has helped me the most. You get what you give. I find it hard to believe these comments. Everyone is entitled to an opinion... and some are just entitled.

If you aren't one of his favorites, then you aren't going to get anything out of his class. Very difficult to get direction from, insists on doing every show the same way every term (doing Shakespeare in an Newfoundland accent is a great idea... once). Definitely not a fan of Mr Hennessey.

Had him for two semesters of theatre history, and one semester of production. The guy's a genius, people just don't understand him, because he has a hard time explaining himself. Once you "get" t-henn, you realize how brilliant he really is. Cares more about students then any other prof!

people complain how we only play games and stuff in acting, but its good because Todd assumes we know nothing about acting, and wants to start from the basics, work your way up, i find him effective and fun. and he isnt biased towards Theatre students, he just knows them better, i like him muchly..

Alot of people say he dosen't teach or direct well... We're Theatre students. He's not supposed to tell us everything, his job is to give an outline and let us mature as actors by making our own choices. He will call you on your bad choices, but always lets you make your character.

A director who loves Film Noir and little else. Has a long way to go before he matures as a director. Has been given too much responsibility in a short period of time. Nice guy, bad director.

Nice guy but knows nothing about directing or teaching. He's the guy to go to if you have questions about the program. He gives little or no useful feedback when in class or in a show and you never know if you're doing well.

Prosaic and boring lecturer, never in his office or reachable by phone for anything. Biased against non-degree students in this course. Generally unhelpful. But, suffer through, kids, it gets better next semester.
