Absolutely wonderful, I can't stand the fact that she has left Auburn. She was a credit to the English Department and to the University. Teaching was impeccable, one of the few English classes where I learned and could apply that knowledge. I was changed after I took her class.

She is the worst teacher I have ever had!!!Her attitude is horrible and,she talks down at students out loud during class.Teachers should never broadcast someone's failure to the whole class and,that's what she did to a couple of students in my class.If you ask her a question,she looks at you as if you are stupid. PLEASE DON'T CHOOSE HER CLASS!!

Comment:

Dr. Ingram's class has been, by far, the most interesting English class I've taken. Her book selections were all great (especially compared to some of the boring selections in other courses). Class discussions were almost always interesting. Dr. Ingram is a good professor who will be missed by those of us who know her.

Comment:

Class was a bit rough, strict grading as far as papers and group presentations are concerned. However, this does seem to contradict some of the other ratings I have read, therefore it may be just me. The class is definitely passable, but if you're going for an 'A' you might want to avoid taking the class or avoid having a social life.

Love her, by far my favorite class this semester (Post Colonial Lit.) She can be tough though and gives a lot of reading (even by English department standards), but not too excessive. Take this class if possible because I do believe it is beneficial.

Who the heck gave her a pepper? Don't buy it. She's hard and never around to help. She's disorganized, rude if she disagrees with you, and an inconsistant grader. Trust me, there's GOT to be another class to take (and I'm an English Major who likes (liked) femisnist theory).

I love Dr. Ingram! Ver interesting and the class was fun! Have to do a group presentation (thats very easy), 1 paper (8 pages), and random quizzes. There is also a midterm and a final, but they are easy as long as you do the reading. She doesn't grade her papers very hard, so an A is definitely possible!

Students beware, avoid this lady if at all possible, she is unbareable,doesn't help students at all, never in her office. I hve never got less then an A in the department and in this class I work my butt off for a C.

This lady is horrible, and so is her little partner. If you dont agree with her or have the same opinions as her then she doesnt give you the time of day. she assigns things without giving clear instructions. they alternate teaching class, and just stand up in the front voicing their opinions. avoid her!!

This is a tag-team from Hell. It is not an issue of agreeing with these women or not- its the work. Not Kidding way-way to much work for a 2100 level class ex:10 responses-full page w/internal citation not double spaced, 1 research paper, 2 crazy tests, a final, and a group presentation. I don't mind working hard, but if your smart stay away..

The woman is a pill. Yes a PILL. She was always excited about what she tought BUT if you didn't or don't see eye to eye with her you are doomed. She is an impossible grader, feminist, critic, and reactionary. If you have a loose tongue, sharp wit, and are just as opinionated as she is beware. If you need a lesson in patience and tolerence take the woman's class.

She is great! She is really funny and loves to joke around with her students. She loves if you participate and her exams are mostly facts about the authors, which she clearly gives you. If you participate, read some of the material, and study for her exams, you will get an A.

She made great books interesting. Her sense of humor really helps get the class through all the reading. Her tests aren't bad, but you do have to spend some time on the papers.
