my class was ART14.61, all lectures. No participation required (take him if you don't like to talk in class.) beware: VERY BORING!! but helpful. memorize 50+ images for tests, not very hard b/c you can write anything relating to the artwork (mid and final) one 10 page paper (duh)

Here's the LD: Straight lecture, very boring (he rambles). Comprehensive exam (incredible visual memorization required, I studied 15 hours for each exam) HOWEVER: If not for this guy I would know next to nothing about art, and if you're a business major and need to impress the boss with well-heeled references and innuendoes this could come in handy

Real boring class, but not relly his fault. You need to enjoy art to enjoy art classes. Pretty nice guy and he gives out review sheets for exams. Main thing you should study should be the slides. He says theres not going to be too much on slides, but more than 50% of questions were slides. Study those and you good. One term paper, kind of hard.

Class is boring, people fall asleep. Material is easy, he gives the complete material you need to know for the midterm and final. If you study that, you are set. The book is expensive, and it's not necessary at all. just look up the things on the internet, or use the book in the library for the tests to find the info he tells you to know on tests.

Ok. Pleasant guy, definitely knows his stuff. However, the class itself is just plain boring, there's no way around it! He gives u study guides & slides to prepare for the midterm & final (both MC), so once u study those (especially the slides) then ur gud. Explains anything u have trouble with and welcomes comments and questions.

He is boring, does not know how to make anything interesting. His lectures doesn't just make you want to die, it makes you wish he died as well. He is a sad name for a professor, he makes you question Brooklyn College's standards for hiring staff.

We spend 30 minutes waiting for him to show up, another 10 while he read our names in our ASSIGNED seats. no conditioning; stuffy room & a guy who squints & rambles about random slides. exams fair ONLY if u read & study the book. no curve. 2 much work for a 2 credit core. He tries too hard, to interest us. Caffine pills r a MUST for this class!

He's a very dull professor, therefore you should have a double shot coffee before going to class. He does however, have his moments worth chuckling every blue moon. His exams are easy if you figure out which slides exactly to study. If you stay awake for every class and listen to his every word you deserve to be in the Guinness World Records book.
