Dr Milich was great during the winter intersession! Im a Psyche major, but he definitely made this history class entertaining and intense. Hes great as a professional and a person. Helped me the whole way with my final paper, through email and phone calls. Very approachable, down to earth and just an all around great guy!

An amazing professor. Always backs up his sometimes unorthodox views with the cold hard facts, and warmly invites the discussion as well as any challenges. His material can be intimidating, but it presents history in a fascinating light that wasn't exposed to you in high school. Too bad I can only type 350 characters on here!

What can I say? An awesome professor. Gave insight to things I had never thought of before and showed every side of the story - encouraging dissenting views/discussion. Willing to give help on nearly everything.

He is knowledgeable, engaged, and VERY entertaining as a lecturer. The Socratic style of teaching is kind of intimidating, but it definitely helps get the points across.

The best professor I have ever had-- he is the smartest person I have ever met and he demands that his students rise to his level. Classes are very challenging but he is always available to students if they need help understanding or clarifying anything he said in class. He is the professor I respect the most of any I have ever had.

Probably one of the most knowledgable and passionate teachers I've ever seen. You learn a lot of material but he is extremely helpful if you have any questions. Awesome professor, everyone should take a class with him.

What a shame it is that Wash U. can't offer a full-time professorship to a person who encourages scholarly thought and analysis. The material is difficult, but the reward lies in his undying support of the student. Clearly the best I know around!
