Professor Beisheim is an incredibly boring professor. I had him three times a week, slept every class during his lectures, and still got an A. It is very boring but incredibly easy to get an A

As a science major this was a required course. Would definitely take this professor again. There were three papers, fairly graded. Lectures were tough to get through at times but don't bother buying the books if you plan to go to class.

if you go to class and put some effort into the papers you will do fine. attendance doesn't really matter but make sure you're there when he hands out the assignments. lectures are boring but its an easy class to get the religion requirement out of the way and help your gpa. you do need the books to write the paper even though he barely uses books.

The class is very easy. There is only 3 short papers. You don't have to go to class to get an A in this class. It is extremely boring but wicked easy.

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL!!!! IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO EARN AN A IN HIS CLASS. WHAT HE EXPECTS FOR AN A IS A 98 OR ABOVE. I GOT A 97 ON MY PAPER AND I GOT AN A-. THIS IS NOT FAIR. BRINGING MY GPA DOWN! THE MOST BORING CLASS I HAVE EVER ATTENDED. I HAVE NOT LEARNED A SINGLE THING. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS.

Very nice guy. His lectures are boring and it does not help that the class what at 8:30 in the morning. Very fair with essays. Always lets you rewrite them for a better grade. You don't have to show up to every class but I believe showing up is the reason why I got such a good grade on my rewrite. Also there are no tests.

The papers were doable without having read the books, and he actually grades pretty liberally. The main problem with the class I took was it was not an interesting topic. Seemed like a friendly guy, and I imagine he'd be helpful if you met with him in his office.

Super easy class; super nice guy. Class can be a bite dull. He lovvvvves the "Life, death, rebirth" cycle. (that is, people are continually evolving.) Also obsessed with talking about "O'Murchu" (author of one of the books the class was supposed to read.) Overall it's definitely worth taking because it is soooooo simple.

Nice guy but horribly boring. Gave 3 papers and 2 case studies. Case studies were very easy and done in class. Papers are easy to write and aren't long. If you can sit through his boring lectures then you'll do fine.

He is very nice and class is super easy, but wicked boring. There are three papers and you dont even really have to read the books to do well on the papers. It is really easy, but I just wish he was more interesting. The topics in class dont really relate that much to the actual reading either.

Prof. Beisheim is the most underrated professor on campus. He is so interesting and does a great job at relating religion to modern day events. No tests or quizzes, just 3 papers on the books or class discussion. Not too hard at all. Easy GPA boost and enjoyable class. I had no prior knowledge of religion and I got an A

I really liked him! I had him for a learning community with Professor Gribble, and I found him more interesting when he co-taught with him, but he was good by himself too! He's a really really really nice guy, so its impossible to say anything negative about him!

SO. so. so boring. very hard to stay awake in this class, all he does is ramble about the 4 books we have to read and all he talks about it catholicism. No tests just papers but boring class don't take it if you can avoid it.

Easiest class I've ever taken. No need to read or even buy the books. Only 3 or 4 very short papers, no tests. Boring but so easy it's worth it. Definitely recommend to boost GPA. He's a really nice guy too.

Really nice man but extremely boring class. Participation is not mandatory and skipping some classes wouldn't hurt your grade either. No tests or quizzes, just 3 or 4 papers. Not a lot of work but wouldn't reccomend.

This class was absolutely dreadful. He rambles on about absolutely nothing. most of the time no one even knew what he was talking about. he takes over a month to grade papers and even then, he's a horrible grader. he doesn't know or care if you show up to class because he doesn't even try to remember anyone's name.. avoid taking him for anything..

Took Peace, Justice & Ecology. By far one of the easiest classes I've taken here at Stonehill. I do not know anything about religion (Not religious), didn't do any readings except the few articles for the paper, and ended up with an A-. Highly boring but well worth it if you want a boaster for your gpa.

Beisheim probably had one of the most boring classes that I have ever taking. On rare occaisions, the class would be funny when he would ramble on about monks, but, on the whole, exscruciatingly bad. Very Easy, I did not read any books, I just read about 2 pages that he would focus on in class and I got an A-.
