Edelstein can be a harsh grader BUT he applies his life experiences to the material making it easy for the students to remember the material. He is very kind and cares about his students A lot of homework that is not weighted heavily 1 test midterm and a final. Would totally recommend him even though he is a harsh grader you learn al ot from him.

Rough class, but he's worth it. He keeps the classes interesting and I can honestly say I learned a lot. Homework's are brutal and long, but they don't really count. Midterm was not bad, but final (cumulative) and the first exam were much harder.

If you want a good grade in the class, DO NOT take Professor Edelstein. He is a very good teacher, but his grading system is completely unfair. He grades he homeworks horribly, and then wont curve them. I worked my ass off and only got a B+

Edelstein is a really good teacher, one of the best I've ever had actually. However, its close to impossible to get an A in this course. The materiel is dense and tricky, and so are his exams. Great teacher, but way too hard!

Best law teacher you'll ever come across at Pace University (or any other school) take him only if you are really interested in pursuing a career in law or business cause he rocks! He's a tough grader in homework but the midterm and final exam grades are what counts for him so just pay attention (i got c's and f's in hw but got an A- in the course)

Comment:

Professor Edelstein is the greatest professor I had during my Freshman year. He made everything clear about what we had to do to get a good grade and he basically held our hand through all the work we did (which wasn't a lot). Just a little bit of easy homework and a midterm and a final. One group project that is simple when broken down. Great guy!

A lot of work - but you learn the stuff. Never had a class I enjoyed more attending or a teacher I learned more from. Hands down - the BEST professor at Pace I have come across. If you are looking to coast by - avoid this class.... but you will be missing out.

Class consists of midterm, final, and scattered homework. The midterm and final are easy and come right from the book. The homework assignments are in business letter format and are just used as tools to improve your professional skills. In essence, he wants to see effort and good grades on the midterm and final. Biggest clown ever!! For the first 3 months of classes he talks about his weekends and his family the whole time. he makes u write pointless business letters and grades them very hard. I spent hours on letters to get B's and C's. When you ask him why u got that he tells you that what you deserve. do not take him it will kill ur gpa.

Prof. Edelstein is a really funny guy, and keeps your attention by the rediculous dances and comments. Aside from that, he is unclear as to what to focus on in the curriculem. I study so much and worked my ass off to get a good grade, and I only got a B, which is not bad but i expected more. Don't be late or you get the look.

He is truly the man. I took him @ 8:35am on MW and he was so alive and kept us all on our feet...Take good notes & listen to him in class, do your homework and the tests will be fairly straightforward...Law is a little tricky in general, so missing a class is not a good idea. Overall, I highly recommend him!
