He is very uptight and will give long lectures for simple questions. He isn't very understanding of the fact that we are human beings and make mistakes. He also treats the graduate students more fairly than the undergrads. His grading system is very unrealistic and too tough.

Very smart man. His random lectures cover A LOT of info. He isn't extremely clear or organized, and most of the time in class is very chill and fun. It's true that he takes a very long time to answer a simple question. He requires you to learn A LOT more history than techniques and such. Not a hard class but I did horrible on the 2 tests.

Thought it would be a fun clas...NOT. he has the driest sense of humor i have ever heard, when he asks a question and you answer it correctly, he basically tells you that you are wrong, you ask a simple question and get a 15 minute discussion about it, 95% of the time he treats it like an Art History class

i took him for two classes, and although he thinks that ALL of his classes are 'art history' he knows what's hes doing. it doesn't hurt to know about artists. extremely intelligent although boring. nice guy.

A genius from Cranbrook, this professor gave me a lot for me to go out into the artworld. I studied with him in the 1970's when he first came to Marywood. He is dedicated to the University and an asset to the place. If someone doesn't appreciate him, they need to grow up and have their head examined.

Thsi guy is interesting. He is like the stern uncle type. He is very strict about projects and tests, doesn't put up with crap, and expects honest effort. I like him, we are in college, all of that should be expected. He is alittle uptight but i good guy. I think he is a good teacher and nice person.A very QUALITY and CRAFTSMANSHIP type professor which I like.

when i had him the first time, he made me and my friends cry on several occasions and doubt we were in the right major. don't let him get to u. he's a tough teacher, but he's actually very intelligent and definately knows his stuff.

Sometimes people take his criticism as him telling you what to do. I think sometimes it is hard for students to take because they are unwilling to be challenged, they think there art is untouchable. He is a teacher, he instructs, if he said nothing what is the point of taking a class. He is Great!

I hated him. I am in art school to be creative, and he doesnt LIKE creativity.We were forced to conform to HIS idea of a good drawing, and he actually GRADED the projects on how "good" it was. There is no GOOD or BAD art...therefore he is a hypo

Peter is an awesome teaching. I had for drawing my freshman year. It was horrible. The reason being is that he doesn't like freshman or drawing class. He is a great printmaking teaching. He is so funny and interesting. Very helpful. Highly recommen
