Very nice guy but not a good professor. Was not that clear in his lectures or on what he wanted in exams, papers. I found his grading to be very harsh. Was very eager to help in office hours but the help wasn't that beneficial for the papers or exams. Would definitely not take him again.

The reason I majored in Geography. Insightful, interesting, and truly interested in his students' intellectual growth and personal well-being. I was lucky enough to have him as my advisor and he really guided my entire Colgate path, including an outside study abroad program. Go to him for honest opinions and TAKE HIS CLASSES!

Really not a good professor. Lectures were boring and not structured well at all. He was really nice and kind of helpful. Exams were hard and he graded papers extremely harshly. Would not recommend.

This is my second class I've taken with Klepeis and he is such a good guy. He really cares that you understand the material and is flexible on due dates. His lecture slides are where he gets his tests from and he posts them online so tests are no-brainers. Definitely take anything with him.

Professor Klepeis is extremely helpful, and is a very understanding professor. He seems lost at times in terms of class content, but sit with him one on one and you'll gain a ton of knowledge. The man is here to teach.

Klepeis is really cool. He's understanding if you need an extension on an assignment or can't make it to class. He only gives one mid-term. You'll never see a quiz or be called on to talk about a reading. He's extremely knowledgeable about his subject and a joy to be around.

Young, energetic, engaging, funny professor. Easy grader. Assigns a lot of reading but a lot of it is interesting. The other stuff isn't so necessary to read. If I was a geography major I would definitely take another class with him.

One of the 2 worst professors I've had at Colgate. Lectures are incredibly dry and contain no real content. He appears unprepared for every class and takes forever to grade assignments. His grading in general makes no sense. I would never take another class with him. You learn nothing and you just get frustrated.

He is really nice. His grading style is sort of strange. What you thought was an A paper will be a B, and vice versa. He will help you on whatever you dont understand though. The class is fairly easy. A lot of discussion. Learned things about the environment I never would have thought of.
