Prof. Laneri is the best Math teacher I've taken at this school. He is honestly so cool about his classes even going as far as to teach us other Math related things to keep things not so boring. Class is easy just pay attention. Honestly the GOAT of the Math Department here.

He's a really good professor. He tests on a few things a time and makes sure to take his time so the class can grasp the material. He usually ends class early and doesn't lecture long-- most of the class consists of practicing the problems. He makes Math easy . He gives 3 tests and a final and also drops your lowest test grade. Just show up

Prof Laneri is hands down my favorite teacher at St. John's. He takes his time to make sure everyone understands the topic. The class before a test he gives a review of exactly what is on the test. He is very understanding and even drops lowest test grade. There is never any homework. Definitely recommend taking him!

He's great! He makes math easy to understand and he teaches at a good speed. There's never homework, and he does care when someone's absent a lot. He always mentions participation & being at class counting for a few extra points on your grade.

Only one complaint here. He teaches how to do certain problems very well, but doesn't explain why they work the way they do (eg. he explained factorials and permutations, but not how they are related). Other than that, he teaches the class very well. Relates everything to real-world applications, like the lottery and horse racing.

Easy math class. He explains everything in great detail. He goes over all the topics on the test the day before the exam. The exams are easy and sometimes are the same exact problems that he goes over in class. He also drops your lowest exam grade. Easy A.

He's an amazing and funny professor. The material is easy computer stuff. I got more than 100 on each of the exams. Plus he drops the lowest one! All the questions come from the notes. Easy and fun class. Take it!

Hes not just easy.He is a great professor. he really cares about the students passing and doing well. He is very knowledgeable in many things. you can ask about finance to math and he will know. you must do the work and show up he takes all that into consideration.

He was my professor for COMPUTER APPLICATIONS IN THE LAW OFFICE. He is such an easy teacher. The classwork is a piece of cake and he gives a review sheet for each test. Take this class if you want an "A". He is a very nice man and is always willing to help you. Just show up for class and pay attention! TAKE THIS PROFESSOR/CLASS!!!

Three tests & 1 final [extremely easy] gives bonus..Gives a lot of notes that are on test..often repeats himself..only bad thing..the class was supposed to relate to the legal field and we only went over powerpoint, making pamphlets and posters..never once did we use Westlaw/Lexis Nexis or other internet computer based research..easy A

Laneri is the man..he is hysterical..especially when he goes on tangents about stocks..theres 3 tests (one is dropped) and a final..very easy..tests are right from his notes..he lets out really early too. Definitely take him!

Professor Laneri is a nerd professor who loves his stocks and complaining about how much the school invests in waterfalls. You will enjoy the time in class because he is funny and funny to look at. The work is straight forward but you might want to invest in a calculator(TI-83) over the textbook.
