This professor was so horrible I just had to make an account just so I can warn all you fellow students out there to NOT TAKE HIS CLASS. His grading is extremely unfair and no matter how much effort you study and put into the test, it will not show. The way he teaches, or lack of, is extremely confusing and he is not helpful at all when needed.

If math is not your strongest subject, you should take Mr. Lee. He will teach you the basics, and the easiest way to solve problems. His class is not easy, so if you are looking for an easy A, I would not recommend this class. He makes you work for an A.

He is a horrible teacher if you aren't very good at math don't take him. He has no patience for students who ask questions it got so bad last semester that the math department chair had to sit in on a class he was extremely helpful while the math department chair was there but once he left he went back to getting mad when you ask questions horrible

He is THE BEST teacher. Even though his class might seem difficult at first, do not give up! You can pass his class if you try your best, and put in the time to actually learn the material. He gives you questions that you can't guess the answer, so it will benefit you to actually learn the material. There is no way you can be lazy and pass.

I took professor Lee for math I've always been very good at it this has easily been one of the hardest classes I've taken. He isn't very helpful he gets mad when you ask question and then mocks and makes you feel dumb for asking them in the first place. He is very petty makes fun of students with low grades with other students so unprofessional.

He is an excellent teacher. He doesn't give homework, he gives exams, and his lectures are extremely helpful. If you pay attention and write notes you can do good on his tests. He also teaches you the short-cuts and it ends up being easy. Hes probably the best math professor.

He gave a midterm on the 3rd day of class worth 10% of grade. He gets angry when you ask questions, speeds through the material and makes tests hard. When he saw that 90% of the class was struggling on a test, he got angry and told the class he would deduct extra points on wrong answers. Do not take his class! Simply the worst professor I've ever had.

Lectures are too fast unable to take proper notes- he is very unorganized on the board and makes too many mistakes. Nice person. 15 minutes for office hours and doesn't respond to emails. No specific study guides for any of his short testfinals which made it very difficult to get an A. Very different teaching style and harsh grader. No H.W.

Make sure your Algebra is on point if you're taking Lee. I spent the first four weeks playing catch up because we were doing a bunch of stuff I didn't even learn in Algebra which eventually lead me to fall behind. The course is manageable if you know your stuff, but he isn't the clearest teacher ever. And the tests... oh god. The nightmares...

He was terrible!!! If you struggle in math, or even average, I recommend a diff teacher. Tests are really hard. Only about 10-13 q's. You think you got it, but the tests completely throw you off. Only 4 students were left in the class out of about 30. Talks too much in my opinion. He also teaches at SMC. Don't take him!! If you do, READ the T-BOOK!

It's difficult to understand him talk, but you get used to it. He has a good teaching method, but gives very little time to do the exams. The only way to get an A is to practice speed on the "Test exams" and to assume that if your answer is "number complicated" the you made a typo somewhere :P. I would not recommend unless you are fast at math.

He is one of the best Math teachers I have taken. He is knowledgeable and extremely smart. He might appear to talk too fast since he knows what he is teaching. He is fair and teaches many math essentials necessary for higher classes. You need to be well prepared for his Calc class if you want to do well. Finishing Pre-Calc with ?A? is the must.

Read the comments on this guy under Santa Monica College (he also teaches there) and you will see all you need to know. The guy is so awful that he actually has 96 ratings. 96!!! Does anyone else on this website even come close? Bottom line, terrible teacher. Fifteen students at the start of the semester and only 3 in the end. Toughest B ever.
