Pete sure says "Um" a lot and tends to point out mistakes you've made in presentations while you're still presenting. But overall, he's a nice guy and knows his stuff. He *will* test you thoroughly.

Easc 201 as well. He is a great prof but he got a bad reputation teaching 201. Very smart and does give interesting lectures. Exams are tough though but fair.

Entertain yourself by counting how many times he says "um" in his lectures. Really boring but easy to understand, but makes the exams really tough and detailed so even though you think you might know everything, he'll surprise you. STUDY HARD!
