Bellinger is great. Ceramics is so fun and relaxing. There's not set syllabus to go by, you do things at your own pace and you can make as many things as you'd like. Bellinger is always there when you need him. He'll step in and help you fix something on the wheel before you can mess it up yourself lol

Richey is the ceramics professor you want. Guaranteed. He is so into what he does! So, so helpful and encouraging. You'll feel on Cloud 9 when he first compliments one of your pieces. I truly loved every second I was in his class, he's wonderful. Super nice, very approachable. 1010 would take again.

Richie is the kind of teacher you hope to get when taking ceramics. He is an amazing potter and has a ton of knowledge to share with his students. I started taking ceramics a year ago and fell in love it mainly due to Richie. I have taken his class every term since except last term because he did not teach during the summer. Highly recommend!!!

Amazing teacher. He is a true expert, really knows his stuff, and he is great at communicating it. Always willing to answer questions, super patient. Grades primarily on effort. Richey is a great instructor. LOVE taking this class. He is a little bit of a tough grader, this class is not "an easy A" but he is fair and expects you to do your best and put in some effort. He doesn't expect you to create masterpieces, just to mature in your skills as the term progresses. Will be taking his class again.

Extremely helpful, patient, enthusiastic, and skilled. I had a vague interest in ceramics going in, now I'm devoted. If you put the effort in, you'll do well in this class, but Richey won't let you get away with goofing off, which I'm grateful for. He lets you explore and experiment, and will help you with personal projects. A+!

Very helpful, very clear, gives lots of good examples and personal attention. Understands the levels of each student & wants each to succeed. Attentive. Honest.
