Comment:
Professor Sanchez's class is difficult for a 100-level course. You can study the textbook and lectures for hours and still score poorly on the exams. One optional paper, which can help your grade if you need it. He didn't show up to office hours a few times and takes a while to respond to emails.

Professor Sanchez is a great professor who's clearly passionate about what he teaches, even in an intro class. He keeps lectures interesting and fun! Readings aren't necessary if you go to class. Only two tests and a final (with optional essay). Great class!

He's funny and interesting. The textbooks aren't super necessary, and his powerpoints aren't that helpful, so you need to take good notes to know what to study. There are no quizzes and only one optional paper, so your entire grade comes from just 3 exams and 1 final, so you REALLY need to do well on those.

This man is the most amazing professor in this university! He is constantly cracking jokes and he knows what he is talking about. Reading is the only homework, but you'll do just fine without reading as longs you go to class. TAKE HIM FOR ANY CLASS.

Dr. Sanchez has been one of my favorite professors at Loyola thus far! He is an amazing lecturer and kept an 8:30 class interesting. He was also a really understanding guy. The test are all multiple choice and require minimal studying as long as you show up to class and take notes on lecture.

Very nice guy! He made an 8:30a tolerable. If you're interested in PLSC you'll love this class. My only real issue is that his tests are hard and there aren't a lot of grades. There's an optional paper, that changes the weight of your tests, so that was nice.

Easy A if you're knowledgeable about the subject matter, I have skipped 5 classes because of back pain and still easily got an A. Multiple choice exams, if you don't completely dismiss the course, it will be a piece of cake.

The course material is very interesting and his lectures are good too. The course is 2 exams and a final, or you can do a paper in addition to those if you want. Exams are hard. Do not take this course if you are not a strong multiple choice exam taker. Overall enjoyed the course material but tough exams with no other assignments is hard.

Prof Sanchez was absolutely wonderful. Although I took his class to get out of a core credit, I found a lot of it interesting. He's a really funny guy and def knows his stuff. There's two exams, an optional paper and a final. The exams are so easy though. As long as you pay attention in class, you're guaranteed an A. Also, I never used the books.

A great professor! He's very intelligent and his lectures were interesting and informative (even at 8:30 in the morning). Two tests and a term paper, all fairly easy. Show up to class and take notes and you should do well. He's fantastic, I would highly recommend him.

Attendance is 5% of the grade, so go to class! His lectures are straight recaps of the readings - if you attend class, you can get by without reading every assignment. Midterm and final are both multiple choice and are very fair, and the term paper is very simple (did mine in 2 nights). Dr. Sanchez himself is very warm and personable - I recommend!

Very intelligent professor. The reading isn't very important except for the stuff he gives outside of the text book. Exams are fair and students know what to expect. Show up and take notes and you'll do fine. He's a very interesting and funny guy who is also a great instructor. Highly recommended.

Exams are very deceptive (a common theme among Loyola's professors); however, Sanchez is definately the best professor I have had here. If your looking for an easy A then dont take the class but if you want to learn a great deal then enroll. Excellent professor and unlike most of Loyola's faculty, the lecture was actually worth attending.

His class is deceptivly hard. You think you did real well on the test then you get an 82 handed back to you. You study more and feel better, and you get an 86. For the most part it's an interesting class, but like I said, it's much harder than it seems. I was expecting to breeze through it but that definitly wasn't the case.
