I dont understand a thing in his class.He is really terrible.His tests are based on concepts .5 questions and if you missed one you are done.this is the fifth week I havent learned a thing in this class.I will probably drop.

Scatterbrained lectures, but par for the course in a topical class for non-science majors. Ask questions from him, not the TA --> Online notes suck so get it straight from the horse's mouth instead. Lecture attendance a must, and watch his shirt comes progressively untucked as he sweats...mesmerizing...

I really liked him. Prof. Wolynes put a lot of effort into making chem, which for non-science majors is going to be boring no matter what, seem fun and important. He did experiments in his class pretty much every day. He was also super-nice, and you can tell he cared a lot about his student's success.

He's a intelligent guy,more of a reseacher than teacher. His lectures jump around a lot but are the most important part of the class. You can tell he puts effort putting together his demonstrations/lectures and TRIES to make them fun.Aproach him early on and he will try his best to help you understand. He works VERY HARD to make his students happy.

The class is super boring, especially when you take it at 9 am, and he is really hard to follow. He tends to just jump around from topic to topic. The tests are super random and hard to study for, but the curve is nice. If you are going to take CHEM 11 take it with Prof. Donoghue, he is known for being a lot easier.

Really boring, but he seems nice. Most of his exams are based on lectures, but those are never really interesting and seem unorganized. I always found it an achievement to take a page of notes and stay awake the entire class. I suggest you take the other professor, Donoghue. I heard he was good.

Nice guy. Very easy class, take it. His lectures are important despite what other students might say because all his exams are based on his lectures. Only read the book when you don't understand it. Sometimes unclear, but it's such an easy class and he's a nice guy.

He is a big dork. His lectures are very confusing and unclear. Reading the book would probably help you more, but about half of his questions on exams if from lecture. He has online lecture notes but those are old and they SUCK. He is not an approachable or understanding professor I know! He won't even take in my sugesstions.
