Comment:
Easy A if you do everything required. Prof. Cox wants to see his students participate and do well. Attendance is passed around each class and along with in class participation counts for about a fourth of the grade. One easy test and Two papers (5 and 8 pgs). Dr. Cox is funny and easygoing. Oh and the reader for the class is only $20!

Phil Cox is such a nice and easy professor. Just show up and do his very minimal assignments (usually a midterm, final and a paper of your chosen topic) and you will pass. Unfortunately attendance is mandatory or you could literally never go because he just rambles all class rather than teaches, but that's what is awesome about him.

Prof. Cox is both brilliant and humble. He is an active philosopher and encourages students to share their opinions. He takes notice of the students who talk in class and will you will do well if you back up your opinions.

Ethics whit his was great! Easy class to get an A in and you will be thoroughly entertained. 1 quiz (which the questions are given a week prior) and 2 papers about any topic in ethics you'd like. If you don't get an A on the paper you can re-write it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND whether you're interested in the topic...or in an easy A. ;)

I took an online course with him and it was horrible. Maybe he is a great teacher in class but certainly not online. I am not sure if this was his first online class but her was disorganized with the assignment and the grades. He responded to email kind of late. The only positive thing is he allowed for some good discussion

Very helpful, brilliant, engaging even if he might not really have the time he gives it as if he does. I absolutely love the way he wants us to learn, all on our own. There is no better way, now that I believed in his method and used it, which brought me to the door of Ethics without hardly lifting a finger. Fabulous class, now that I understand

ok, easist A ever but, c'mon guys. This is a college course and it has no work in it. I could have learned more reading a book on my own. He claims that reading 'stuffy old philosopher' get you nowhere. Yeah, I am sure Harvard students do the same. Teach something for God's sake!
