This guy is not afraid to tell it like it is--which makes him all that more interesting to listen to. He gives very good examples in his teaching, and correlates information with real-life situations. He is very specific in his tests, but his lectures are too. Paying attention is easy, because he makes things interesting, but do take notes also.

Heard about how easy this class was and took it just for an extra good grade for my GPA and it didn't disappoint. I went to the very first class which was the first day of school and that was the only one I went to. Tests are online, easy, and you can find study files for them. He's an actual good guy as well and wants to see people do well.

This class was definitely difficult. I had to go to a tutor to pass the class. Go to lab and actually study the bones. Take notes in class.

Take him online for an easy A, take him in-class for an easy F. Exams are a joke, essentially making sure no one gets a good grade. If you're not good at memorizing 250+ scientific terms, you're gonna fail his exams since all the questions are fill in the blank. Unless this is specifically required for your degree, stay away!

I took this class online and it is an easy A. There are 5 exams and he also offers an extra credit paper. He will remind you when every exam is due, but not the extra credit. His power points can be a little hard to follow sometimes. Never opened the book.

He loves subject & expects those in class to also. You can do OK reading book and info he posts online, but you miss out on the flavor of Archaeology if you don't go to class & do yourself a disservice by skipping. The class did not make me want to change my major, but it did make me a more well rounded person, understanding humans' place in world.

DiBlasi changed his grading criteria after several weeks. Said he offered no extra credit besides one paper that's ridiculous and then awarded students who attended. Snarky and will discourage students from asking questions. He often times says students are "dumb" if they got questions wrong in the reviews. I stopped going because of his attitude.

He gives 4 Exams all of which are online. If you look hard enough you can find answers. Be warned he requires you to use a specific browser to prevent google during the exame itself. Your grade is the average of your four exams.

Professor DiBlasi taught 8am class in a dark lecture hall w/ a monotone voice. In class, questions were met with snarky and sarcastic answers. It was probably to be funny but it discouraged a lot of students from asking questions. Overall easyish class just have the slides ready for your online tests and you'll be fine. He mocks back reviews btw.

I took this guy's class for the 3 week summer course and received an 89.6. I have a B on my transcript for that. He will not bump you up for anything. It's an honest grade but with 250 questions of exam material, all i had to do was get one more question right and he showed no mercy. He could at least use the +/- grading scale. Dont take this class

Never stepped foot in his class and got an A. Posts all his power-point slideshows online which are helpful for the tests. Uses similar test questions each year so if you can track down old exams and study the course slides you will easily do well.

You either love him or you hate him. He's sarcastic, but loves what he teaches and you can learn a lot from him. I wouldn't recommend skipping class. His tests are tough, but the information is interesting to learn.

Went to class maybe 3 times and finished with a 97. Exams are online, and you can take them from anywhere, with anyone. The exams have been the same for years, so just find someone who has taken him before and it's cake. He's actually enjoyable to listen to, but at 8 am sleeping is more enjoyable.

Would not take him again or suggest anyone should. Grading at the end of the semester was different than his syllabus. Tries to be funny but ends up looking like a complete fool. Did not like or enjoy anything about him or the class.
