cont from last post...she doesn't even hint at what to study about. Then, she tried to fail me. She finalized my grade as a D, and I had to talk to the psy chair board to get it changed to the C that I had. She is the worst teacher ever, and she needs to RETIRE NOW!!! I had Ms. Langhirt winter quarter a cscc, and it was the worst winter of my life. She strickly uses power point for presintation and it takes her like 45 minutes to go over a slide. She gets so far off topic, then when it comes time for a test she tells you to study the whole chapter that the test is on. No study guides, no hint as to what you are

A easy class that was made difficult by some errors on her part, and immaturity of some students. She is unorganized,lectures are irrelevant.You have to study the book. She will test you on things she never told you, but process of elimination works-multiple choice tests. I would not recommend.But she is a nice person, and is trying.

She was a very good teacher for the short amount of time I had her (she had some health issues and couldn't keep teaching my class for that quarter). Anyways, she was funny and for me, she kept the class interesting. She was very helpful and it's really not that hard of a class. I got a B so sorry everyone else. I would say take the class :)

I think some people are being just a little bit harsh. Yes, she is a lecture based professor and she is VERY boring but nearly everything she puts on her tests are on the powerpoints that she teaches from. I didn't work hard at all and I managed to get a C. She's willing to make sure you understand if you're willing to learn.

READ ALL COMMENTS AND TAKE HEED! Her lectures were painful, dull, and uninformative. Her tests were intentionally deceiving and were not based on lecture or review sheets. This class was a nightmare. The tests material is not covered in class, although they are supposively based on her lectures, which are mostly about her patients. Never once used the book. And forget getting hmwk, even if you missed class because of something serious. Also, doesn't give review sheets for ANYTHING. Good luck if you get her!

Take all of the negative comments SERIOUSLY. I discovered this web site AFTER I took her class. I worked my **s off for a B. I think is some ways she likes to be hated and does all the things a teacher needs to do to accomplish this. Good luck on the tests that are in many ways unrelated to the lecture material. Frightening. She claimed at the beginning of the first class that she would have no problem filling the two hours of lecture time up. She was right, she talked about who knows what and most of it didnt apply to anything that would be on a test. I know all about her kids though. She reworded tests as to make them more difficult.

A direct quote from this professor:"Life isn't fair- I realize some of the questions on the test were inaccurate, but memorize the wrong answers, they might be on the test!" If this is the kind of teacher you want- be my guest. SHE needs to see a shrink! Tell me again why she is a teacher? YIKES!!!! My 4.0 GPA just plummeted!

Hard to get any notes from lectures, talked quite a bit about personal practice instead of material at hand (though interesting stories), impossible to know what is going to be on tests. Have to learn from book, and be ready for some unexpected material on tests she thinks you should know.

She was very nice, very friendly, and she did what she said she was going to do. However, she was a lecture based teacher and I had her for a 4.5 hour class and she is not a woman you want to be listening to for 4.5 hours.
