There are 5 exams and quizzes and he drops 1 of each. Quizzes are ridiculous design to make you fail and poor grammar. The tests include the quiz questions and TBs. No projects, just tests and quizzes. Sign in sheet goes around and the final is cumulative so pass the first 4. Do not recommend. You dont need the book either. He gives you ppt and TB.

questions are set up for you to fail. ridiculous amount of review questions for each chapter and they are written poorly. can't follow lectures even if you try. cumulative final quiz and exam. you have to teach yourself everything. i am always an A student but this class was painful. Totally unreasonable class. i dont recommend this class to anyone

No one has any idea what he says so you get little information from his lectures. He gives you the test banks but they are like 100 Q per chapter so it was easier for me to just read instead of memorizing that. Pop quizzes are kinda hard but they are always the class before the test. Drops lowest test with includes the cumulative final, so clutch..

Terrible teacher. Mumbles a lot and doesn't teach. If you take this class you are on your own. Just show up for attendance and read the txtbook yourself. Would only recommend if you are a good reader and prefer working alone.

Quizzes were difficult in my opinion. He provides lengthy exam reviews that contain about 60-70% of Qs on the tests. The questions he writes himself for quizzes and parts of the exams require you to "choose the incorrect/correct statement". The class averaged at about 70-80% each test, and 60-70% on quizzes. 1000 pts total, 800-tests, 200 - quizzes

His teaching is very poor although i show up every class and listen to his lectures. His knowledge is broad but he doesn't transfer it well. His pop quizzes are quite easy except for the last 2: one was not on what he says i was gonna be on and one was cumulative. The tests are fairly easy if you study review questions.

98 % of the time you won't know what he is talking about. Heavy accent and make jokes that you won't get. Super boring lecture. If you take this prof, you pretty much on your own. Good luck

5 exams including final, 5 quizes - Drops your lowest on both. Best part is - the final could also be dropped. The final is cumulative so make sure you do well on the first 4 . The reviews for each ch. are posted on BB, memorize those and it will be easy. In class pop quizzes are tough, but focus on the practices questions at the end of each PP

Dr. Chong is getting towards the end of his career... However, if you read, do the reviewing questions, you will achieve an A. He follows the book, it's good to have a system, lots of professors are all over the place... not the most exciting class, but if you work you will have an A

His class is easy, there 5 tests and 5 quizzes but he drops the lowest ones for both, I think he does curve the grades. Also if you study the reviews for sure u will able to do it. quizzes are hard, tests are easy. He is mumbling all the time but his info and power point are very helpful

This class is pretty easy study off the review questions he posts and his PowerPoint slides and you will be fine. The hardest thing in this class was the group project not because it is literally hard it just takes up a lot of time because it includes both a long presentation and an even longer report. But the class itself is pretty easy overall.

#1 TIP: Memorize the review questions to get an A or high B on the exams;they are literally the same.Barely used the book but you need to buy this other one for the group project, which is big.Lectures are boring but that is where you get your participation points.Attendance is mand. for full points.Best if you take this class over 2 days vs 1 day.

I recommend this class!! I took it over the summer. He gives you chapter review questions for each chapter. Study them and you will do fine. He takes the exam questions straight from the review questions. Also, study the PowerPoint notes at the end of the chaps for the quizes. GREAT TEACHER!!!

Professor Chong's class is extremely easy as far as test and exam's go. Study the review questions to ace test's, and the PowerPoint questions to ace quizzes. However, this class is boring and he likes to pick on students who he thinks are not paying attention or just sit in the back of the class. Getting an A is extremely easy though.

Extremely boring class. Didn't buy the book, half of the class didn't. Rambles on about random things. Tests are a little challenging, you have to teach yourself everything. Gives a giant group project at the beginning of the semester, due before finals. Final is optional.

This class is just boring. If you are a senior and have hard classes though I would take this class so you can do better in harder courses. Didn't touch book all test questions are posted on BB. One group project he gives on 1'st week of school and you present before finals week. Rambles but just study posted questions easy A or B.

Horrible professor. Hardly teaches, just mumble about other random things. Just read the textbooks, you'll need to know EVERY term for the exams. "Pop" quizzes are hard, exams are easier. Drops lowest exam score, drops lowest quiz score. 5 exams and 5 quizzes.

This is hands down the best teacher at this school. Some say he's boring and hard teacher but that is probably someone who is on facebook the whole time. Good and interesting class if you pay attention. Study the sample questions they are on the test \same format. Study the slides and understand them for the incorrect questions to get an a A I did
