Collington is a great dude. He's pretty chill for the most part but you have to buy the textbook and bring it to class which isn't bad because that and a notebook is all you really use. He does his best to make things interesting and if you write down exactly what he says and the concepts you go over in class, you will ace the tests. Only 3 papers and 2 exams. The papers only needed to be 5 pages, that is including a title page and a works cited page. Overall an easy class

Dr. Collington is one of the best teachers I've had in my life. Has great ideas and is very clear with what he teaches. A bit strange at times and has a few bad jokes, but is an amazing guy and teacher. Be sure to read ahead of time and to pay attention to his lectures. I've done very well in his class but people who don't pay attention dont.

Great teacher! He is always so happy and bubbly. He gives out practice quizzes then on the test are the exact same questions. Papers are not hard at all. Expects some participation. And if you feel sick just show up to class then he will let you go home.

I love Dr. Collington. I had him for British Literature, Shakespeare, and Senior Seminar. He is so passionate about the material that he makes it exciting. If your stuck on something go visit him during office hours and he'll gladly talk to you.

Dr. Collington is a great teacher. He is very passionate and has no problems teaching a difficult story and explaining it thoroughly. This is probably because he is so knowledgeable. 2 tests + final and 1 paper, nothing to hard, go to class, listen and take notes. No Problem.

I loved Professor Collington! He's really into everything he teaches and makes everything interesting too. There was three tests, one essay, and a final all of which are very managable as long as your in class everyday and take notes. Notes are pretty much key to the tests and exam he gives.

i had him for both eng 400 and 203. i really liked him he knew what he was talking about and actually made class interesting. ur gunna have to read a lot or go on spark notes but its worth it. his tests arent that hard if u actually read/go to class/take notes

Ugh, Hated the class. Tests were on things that did not even matter to the stories really, and gives no assigments, only 3 tests and a final. Very hard, avoid taking.

Collington doesn't help you with the material too much, bases his entire course on tests that do not even test on the stories (so reading them doesn't help too much) and his lectures are pointless as he does not even test on half of the things he talks about. He doesn't even clearify what he will test on. You have to guess. Avoid if you can.

MEGA-hard class! Plan on reading A LOT and taking tough quizzes on nit-picky details. He is very knowledgable and brings up interesting topics. Assignments are fair. Tough grader, sometimes seems to play favorites, but a nice guy all-around. Good luck if you take him!
