This class is so easy! The professor is so nice and cares about what he is talking about. Attendance is mandatory, but he offered ways to makeup for missing class. Exams are very straight forward if you take notes. His notes are posted online. There is not a heavy course load. No homework. Easy to pass.

don't go near this class nor allow yourself to be fooled this guy is the worst of them all. He talks nonsense and doesn't know how to grade. He always talks about having been an administrator, but yet he became a teacher. he makes no sense in anything and you will have to read so many chapters and he randomly pulls them out like thin air don't care

the worst of the worst there is no chance in learning in this class he is just unbelievable. you much time on lectures and placing three to four chapters in an exam. hear my warning there is no point in taking this class or listening to what this man has to say. He needs to retire or consider working as something else.

Stay away from this class worst experience ever. He teaches once each week an crams in like three chapters and expects you to know everything following exam day. He needs to go back to being an administrator and not an educator. Not worth the time and effort. Do yourself a favor and ignore this class all together trust me it for the your very best.

Tests are hard and can be discouraging you dont really know how to prepare for them even following the outline. However its still possible to get an A if you do all the other work and do all the extra credit opportunities even if youre a bad test taker so its balanced in that sense He seems like he cares and is a good professor for the most part

The topics are interesting, but the lectures are boring. I only needed to read the textbook right before a test and I only read the sections that he had on his exam study outline. The tests are very straight forward and are mostly common sense. Literally, just do the work and you'll be fine. There are service hours for this class.

Dr. Koger is a nice guy with a lot of experience. That being said, this course is so easy that it shouldn't even be called a class. Lectures are long and sometimes dull. Get ready for "class discussions" with 80 people at once.

Dr. Kogers class is an easy A. Theres three tests (including the final) and I didnt study for any of them. I got Bs on all of them and still got an A in the class. Theres not many assignments and the ones you do have are easy. He takes attendence so go and get the points. Lots of extra credit

I took EDF 2005 with Dr. Koger, and I would recommend taking his class to anyone in a heartbeat! His lectures were very informative, and I truly learned a lot in this course. There really isn't much homework and there are plenty of extra credit opportunities. The final exam is not cumulative, and he provides outlines for each exam.

Loved this class! Prof. Koger makes an almost 3 hour class a lot easier by varying teaching methods, from lectures to videos to discussions. He gives study guides for each test along with page numbers. There is a service learning required and it was a lot of fun, the process to sign up was explained thoroughly by the professor.

I LOVE PROF. KOGER! He is indeed one of the best professors! He really encourages you and wants you to pass the class. He provides extra credit and encourages you to do them. He even sends email reminders about them in case you forget! The class may be really long but he makes it fun by showing videos and group activities.

One of the nicest teachers I've had! The class is 3 hours long but he makes it more interesting by showing videos and through group discussions. There are 3 exams but they are very easy if you review the powerpoints and the outlines. The textbook isn't mandatory but it will really help with the exams. 15 hours of service learning are mandatory

He's the absolute best professor I have had the honor of taking a course with. Strongly recommend anyone to take the course with him. I learned so much with him and will most likely be a better teacher as a result. His tests are not difficult and you have many extra credit opportunities. Show up to class, do your work, get an A.

My favorite class. The classes are long, but it's only 1x a week. Tons of extra credit, so easy to get an A. Wish I could have him for every class. Attendance does count. Just review the powerpoints and outlines for test and you will do fine. Great teacher! Learned a lot.

3 tests, one group presentation (only 5 minutes), and so much extra credit! I got Bs on each test, 100 on the presentation and ended the course with over a 100% average because of all the extra credit. You need the textbook to study. Such a nice professor but the lectures are really long. 3 hours once a week and he takes attendance twice each class

HE IS SUCH A NICE PROFESSOR! The class was fairly easy, but you MUST get the book. The assignments are: 3 exams, service learning, 2 short papers, a group presentations and participationextra credit. The exams are a little tough if you aren't reading the book and studying the test outline that he gives out, but if you study, its an easy A :)

He is a good professor, class is long and lecture can get pretty boring. As long as you come to class and do the service hours, you can get an A. Attendance is mandatory but the videos shown in class are asked about on the test. He is helpful and tries to make the long class as interesting as possible with group work and discussions.

Go to class! The points are helpful. The class is mainly lectures with slide shows. You get to do a few in-class assignments with others, but that's it. There's also a group project (pick wisely). The only real problem was the Service Learning hours. If you don't get your hours then you're screwed. NO ALTERNATIVE. Tests are easy, just worded dumb.
