Dr. Whittemore is great. She expects you to read and try to understand concepts before class so you can ask questions and solidify your knowledge during class. That can be hard if you can't motivate yourself, but since there's so much information to cover there's no way she could teach you everything in class. She's very fair and helpful.

I'm a biology major, and I'm really glad I had Professor Whittemore! She demonstrates her clear knowledge of the subject matter, but some of the material can get confusing. She does her best to make sure we all understand it. Tests were fairly easy. Just make sure to do the online homework - it really helps!

She is so amazing! Her teaching style is Powerpoints, but she is extremely clear on what we have to know. Cover a lot of material and book can be difficult, but I was able to follow without reading the text. Tests are SO easy; study guides are given that are exactly like the tests. Highly recommended!

Enrolled in 2 300 level class a 200 and a her class a 100 level. I have the most work in her class. It really feel harder then what a 100 level class for none majors should. Also not to understanding when it comes to missing classes wither it be person or health related.

I would stay after for help and she would ignore me. Never answered questions. She is great at avoiding people. Ended up dropping the class and she told everyone. Gets off topic easily. She plays favorites.

I entered the class and thought it was going to be cool, IT WAS NOT. I would not recommend this clas to anyone. Do not be fooled by her saying she will help you, because she does not help at all. I nearly failed the class and I had a gpa in highschool of 3.8. I was 1 of 2 guys in the class, she made snide remarks about having 2 guys. DO NOT TAKE IT
